This 2 part assignment will allow DNP students to take a deeper look in health promotion, health literacy and disease prevention on a local, state, national or international level. Please visit healthypeople.gov and under Topics & Objectives, please review the current topics that are deemed high-priority health issues. Choose one topic of interest to you for this assignment.
Create an infographic on the chosen high-priority health issue discussing the following items:
- Topic and identify whether it is a local, state, national or international problem
- Data to support why the topic is high priority health issue
- Include at least 3 items related to health literacy that would be important for your consumers to know about the topic
- Include at least 2 resources for your consumers to go to for further information on the chosen topic
