Task 1
Discuss the aspects of the decision to acquire another organisation in the implementation change
process. Examine this with the following in mind:
• The mindset of those leading the change and the influence it may have.
• The composition of the group leading the change, and why this is relevant.
• The pressures concerning the due diligence review
Link the theory to relevant examples.
Task 2
Following on from the ICE 1 scenario, justify the importance of communicating change with all the
affected stakeholders.
Task 3
Discuss the need for monitoring the implementation of the change plan. Discuss this in line with
the following points:
• How can you verify that interventions are being implemented as intended?
• How can you verify that interventions are producing the desired change?
Provide example that indicates ways in which the change manager may address the situation
Task 4
Discuss the steps in the Axelrod canoe change tool, and link the theory to relevant examples.
