Discussion Thread: Electronic Health Record

A hospital organization is looking to adopt an electronic health technology (EHR). It is important that the technology meet the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Meaningful Use (MU) Criteria. Please explain as a DNP, how your role would be beneficial for the hospital in choosing a proper EHR to meet the needs of clinicians and the MU criteria. Please examine all stages of the MU criteria.
