I am having a women leadership course, during this week, we learned about crucial competencies for women success. \u201cFour specific traits are critical to women\u2019s success: courage, risk-taking, resilience, and the ability to manage ambiguity.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n

Have a conversation with a female leader who you know has demonstrated one or more of the competencies discussed in this lesson. Conduct a brief informational interview with her, asking the following questions to ascertain how she acquired these competencies, how she uses them now, and to what advantages:<\/p>\n

  1. How did you come to know that this particular competency was important to your leadership and that it needed work on your part?<\/li>\n
  2. What specific steps did you take to develop that competency to an effective level?<\/li>\n
  3. How do you now utilize or demonstrate this competency? In what situations and in what ways?<\/li>\n
  4. What impact do you experience when you use this competency?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
