As the project leader who is making plans to implement a project in a particular setting, it is an <\/span>
important part of the organizational assessment to identify the past accomplishments as well as <\/span>
challenges of the organization. Take the time to learn how the organization has been successful <\/span>
and how the challenges have been managed. There are tools for planning that are also helpful in <\/span>
developing intentional efforts for successful implementation. <\/span>
I<\/span>NSTRUCTIONS<\/span>
1.<\/span> Address the nine questions that are posed below. Rewrite each question and answer the <\/span>
questions completely as it pertains to your scholarly project. Cite references as <\/span>
appropriate using current APA format. <\/span>
\uf0b7<\/span> How do stakeholders describe and measure quality in this organization or functional <\/span>
unit? Are there a set of metrics that tie to the mission and performance expectations? <\/span>
How were they chosen and who owns the data?<\/span>
\uf0b7<\/span> What quality improvement activities are underway in the organization or functional <\/span>
unit? Are there competing or complementary priorities? Is there already an <\/span>
investment in this effort? Are there boundaries or contingencies of importance? <\/span>

\uf0b7<\/span> Has the group [organization] been successful in it quality improvement efforts? What <\/span>
would the group [organization] consider to be its significant accomplishments? How <\/span>
were they achieved? What was learned? What was valuable? <\/span>
\uf0b7<\/span> Have there been failures in the work or quality improvement? What was learned? <\/span>
What ought not to be repeated?<\/span>
\uf0b7<\/span> What are the baseline measures of quality before the project begins? <\/span>
\uf0b7<\/span> What is the level of quality below which performance must not fall?<\/span>
\uf0b7<\/span> How is benchmarking accomplished?<\/span>
\uf0b7<\/span> Who are the experts? Who are the stakeholders? <\/span>
2.<\/span> Reproduce the chart entitled: Responsibility chart for managing the integrated work of <\/span>
diverse team members in a MS Word document. This will profile the importance of those <\/span>
who will have responsibility in supporting the scholarly project. <\/span>
3.<\/span> Education of frontline nurses or other stakeholders may be required as a part of the <\/span>
scholarly project. After completing the assigned reading reproduce the table entitled: <\/span>
Tool for Planning Instruction in a MS Word document. This will guide you in developing <\/span>
a plan for education\/instruction. <\/span>
4.<\/span> Include additional references as warranted using current APA content.<\/span>
5.<\/span> Combine this assignment with the assignment developed in Module 7: Week 7 <\/span>
(assignment 5). <\/span>
6.<\/span> Have one title page and reference list using current APA format.<\/span>
