The ability to honestly appraise and reflect upon one\u2019s responses to personal and professional <\/span>
experiences provides a basis for growth.<\/span>
I<\/span>NSTRUCTIONS<\/span>
You will write an 8\u201310-page research and reflective-based paper that focuses on emotional <\/span>
intelligence (EI) and social intelligence (SI). It will include a discussion of an EI assessment test <\/span>
taken online, in addition to demonstrating a contemporary work situation application. A plan for <\/span>
improvement will be presented. The paper must include at least 6\u20138 references in APA format in <\/span>
addition to the course textbooks, the Bible, and an Appendix with the EI test results displayed.<\/span>
You will take an online EI test (such as Maetrix Emotional Intelligence Test (MEIT)). The <\/span>
results will be discussed in the Emotional Intelligence Assignment, and displayed in the paper\u2019s <\/span>
Appendix.<\/span>
Compare and contrast EI and SI. Discuss how understanding EI and SI may benefit you and <\/span>
those you work with. How can it help or hinder your current and potential leadership ability?<\/span>
Reflect on individual EI assessment results.<\/span>
Using Johns\u2019 Model for Structured Reflection (Description, Reflection, Anticipatory, Insight) <\/span>
(Giese, 2016), reflect upon at least one work situation where your own EI broke down. What <\/span>
were the leadership implications? How can this be improved upon?<\/span><\/p>\n
