\nassignment provides the opportunity to display to others through a presentation
\nwhat you have learned in terms of leadership. It allows you to identify how
\nthese concepts of leadership can be taught to others.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a
\ncriminal justice\u00a0professional,\u00a0you have been wanting to teach as a
\npart-time adjunct at a community college.\u00a0You have your\u00a0master\u2019s
\ndegree\u00a0in\u00a0criminal\u00a0justice,\u00a0and you are well on your way to
\nyour PhD in Criminal Justice.\u00a0You applied to a local community college,
\nthe program director of the criminal justice program has called you for an
\ninterview, and it is finally your chance to earn the adjunct teaching position
\nyou want so badly.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

You know
\nthis adjunct teaching position will be a significant milestone in reaching your
\ndream of obtaining a\u00a0full-time\u00a0faculty position at a major research
\ninstitution. The program director asks you to bring a PowerPoint (with speaker
\nnotes) to the interview and be prepared to present a short lesson.\u00a0As luck
\nwould have it the topic the program director assigns you happens to be a topic
\nyou just researched!\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Prepare a
\npresentation that is based upon the notion of\u00a0Culture and
\nLeadership\u00a0introduced in Chapter 16 of
\nthe\u00a0Northouse\u00a0text.\u00a0Each slide must have 100 to 150 words of
\nbulleted or paragraph speakers notes.\u00a0 The sources should be reflected in
\nthe speaker notes, slides, and \u201creference section slide\u201d.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Additionally,
\nyou, the student, should use animations, transitions, and graphics to reflect
\nPhD level research. Please review the PowerPoint Teaching Lesson Grading Rubric<\/b>
\nwhen forming your presentation.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
