One of the ABC partners, Patricia Abbott, asked that you provide some perspective on the ERP Program currently being implemented at OSU.\u00a0 She has asked that you prepare a brief memo summarizing the OSU effort.<\/p>\n

Your Assignment:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Research the Workday Program at OSU.\u00a0 Fortunately, The university has provided a website for the community to enhance understanding and awareness for the entire Buckeye community.\u00a0 This should be your starting place:<\/p>\n

Navigate from the home page to learn about the capabilities and features of the new business model.\u00a0 Once you have a good sense of the program, write a brief memo summarizing your findings.\u00a0 Your memo should address these questions, if possible:<\/p>\n

  1. Program Scope<\/strong>:\u00a0 What business and academic functions will be moved over to the ERP Platform?<\/li>\n
  2. ERP Product Suite Selected<\/strong>: Given that WorkDay is the core software suite being deployed, what are the key features\/characteristics of the solution.\u00a0 Are other solutions included within the program as well?<\/li>\n
  3. Business Objectives<\/strong>: What does OSU hope to achieve through its implementation program?<\/li>\n
  4. Timing and Progress<\/strong>:\u00a0 What is the implementation timing?\u00a0 How long will it take, and where is OSU today?<\/li>\n
  5. Audit Implications<\/strong>: Are there any accounting and auditing implications that come to mind?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
