The worry thought exhibits fear and nervousness, while the alternative thought is more positive.

Worry thought: What if no one at the party talks to me?

Alternative thought: I can think of at least one thing to say to someone at the party.

What are the necessary “ground rules” that need to be established in a group counseling session?

Confidentiality – what is spoken in the group stays in the group.

Respect – Sharing one at a time allows people to voice their thoughts and opinions.

Conflict Resolution – If a conflict arises, group members should know the rules for navigating it.

Topic – The topic should be shared beforehand to allow members not to feel surprised. (PROMPT)

Within my practicum & internship experience this year, I have used programs & different online tools in order to help with my supervisor to analyze data, extract data, build schedules, check schedules, & help students where they need to be helped. I am still learning how to navigate these systems because their interfaces are foreign to me. My unfamiliarity with programs has resulted in me not working as efficient, and slowing down the process all together. An area that I would like to further explore is “school counselor technology literacy”. I made this term up, but in order to work faster as well as efficiently requires me to gather more experience in these areas. I hope that with more time in this program I can learn how to work efficiently in these technological areas.

Respond to 2 students discussion using the rise Model Due Friday September 1, 2023 by 11:00 pm Must Read Everything: Reply to at least two classmate’s posts, applying the RISE Model for Meaningful Feedback I will also show an example below of how the response needs to be addressed.
