Some of the common issues facing contemporary education that one can focus on include, classroom size, poverty, family factors such as divorce, poverty and violence, advancement of technology especially post COVID-19 pandemic, bullying, gun-violence and security issues, student attitudes and behaviors, parental involvement, mental and physical health and how it influences learning.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>These issues in contemporary education can be further categorized into the levels of primary learning, higher-education and secondary school. The issues can also be looked at from a national perspective, local perspective or global perspective.<\/p>\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>Task: Based on the issue you chose for the presentation, you will write a 3500 word essay that develops an academic argument about the future of the issue.<\/p>\n<p>Essays should include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An introduction to the essay that includes clear \u2018sign-posting\u2019 about what the essay covers including the argument that you will make.<\/li>\n<li>An introduction to the issue including historical, social, and\/or political context<\/li>\n<li>A discussion of the key perspectives on the current issue<\/li>\n<li>An evidenced discussion of your argument.
