You will complete the assigned readings, answer the following questions:

A. Considering that the United States has the highest expenditures per capita for health care but the infant mortality is higher than other countries, what things can you do to make a difference as a DNP?
What programs need to be developed nationwide?
This applies to all DNPs (APRNs and nurse leaders can focus from a leadership or clinical standpoint).
B. Discuss a solution to the above problem based on your textbook readings and the information gleaned from the IHI modules.
