For this week’s discussion, you will need to become familiar with accreditation organizations and quality care initiatives.  In your initial post, you will need to include the following:  

1. Describe the four basic categories of services provided by the health care delivery system.
2. Summarize two major mechanism used to maintain quality in health care agencies. Be sure to include what is required for accreditation organizations and quality care initiatives.
3. Are accrediting body and quality care initiatives necessary for hospital facilitates to have? Why or why not?
