“A TIME FOR JUSTICE”

The following questions will be used as guidelines for your film analysis. Be sure to expound on each question with complete sentences and paragraphs. No more than two pages, no less than one complete page. Now, according to the film, America was in a serious place. Groups of individuals fighting for rights, issues of poverty, war, violence and assassinations made up the decade of the 1960’s. Follow the guideline:

Through your views of society in this film, how would you describe it? Did life for individuals during that time seem hard and complex? Explain.
If you were around during that time, what do you think you would be doing or what would you be involved in?
Did government have a responsibility to individuals and groups of people during that time?
Can you compare the 1960’s to the current time? What are the similarities?
What can be done about race relations today?
